Government Asset Write-Off Scheme

The Australian Government have announced that the threshold for instant asset write-off has now been removed. Businesses with a turnover of less than $500m should be able to immediately deduct purchases of depreciating assets that are acquired and first used or installed in the financial year they were purchased.

This scheme is available for each individual forklift and therefore multiple forklifts can be claimed under this arrangement. There is NO LIMIT to the number of forklifts that can be acquired under this initiative.
