The Bendi B318 is our most popular articulated forklift of the FWD series, combining the proven 220° articulated mast with increased lift capacity for heavier loads and higher lift heights. It offers the strength and performance of a larger truck while maintaining the compact footprint required for efficient narrow aisle operation with 1.8m aisles.

With lift heights comparable to a reach truck — up to 9 metres — the B318 allows operators to maximise vertical warehouse space without widening aisles. This makes it an ideal solution for operations aiming to significantly increase storage density while maintaining operational flexibility.

Its 3-wheel front-wheel-drive configuration enables smooth, precise articulation, allowing sharp turns in confined spaces without complex manoeuvres or repeated repositioning. Even at higher lift heights, the B318 maintains excellent stability and control for safe, accurate load placement.

The B318 Bendi is available with either lead-acid or lithium-ion battery options, allowing the energy solution to be precisely matched to your operational requirements and usage profile.

The 48 V, 720 amp-hour lead-acid battery is a reliable and cost-effective choice, particularly suited to single-shift or structured operating environments. Compared to the B314, the increased capacity provides longer operation between charges, delivering consistent performance and long service life for many warehouse applications.

For multi-shift or high-intensity operations, the 48 V, 628 amp-hour lithium-ion battery offers maximum flexibility. Designed for fast and opportunity charging, it enables charging during breaks to support continuous operation. With zero maintenance requirements and consistent power output throughout the discharge cycle, lithium-ion technology helps minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

By offering both battery technologies, the B318 ensures each customer benefits from the most efficient and cost-effective power solution tailored to their specific operation.

Cabin Features

The B318 cabin is designed for comfort, visibility, and intuitive operation. Excellent all-round visibility gives operators confidence in tight spaces, while the height-adjustable steering wheel and ergonomic seat ensure a comfortable driving position for operators of all sizes. Fail-safe monitoring electronics continuously supervise truck functions, with clear fault indications displayed on the dash. Intuitive controls, combined with two integrated working lights, support safe and efficient operation in any warehouse environment.

Safety Features

Safety is built into every B318. A sequentially interlocked seatbelt ensures the truck operates only when the seatbelt is correctly fastened. The rear blue spot pedestrian safety light provides a clear visual warning to nearby pedestrians. Travel speed is automatically limited to 3.0 km/h when forks are raised above free lift, and highly adjustable electronic controls allow speeds to be tailored to site-specific requirements.

Electric Drive

The B318’s electric drive system delivers clean, efficient performance without the drawbacks of internal combustion. With no LPG or flammable fuels, there’s no need for bottle changes or refuelling. Operators enjoy zero exhaust emissions, no engine heat, and quiet operation, making the B318 ideal for indoor use and long operating shifts.

Articulated Mast

The B318 features a 220° articulated mast, central to its space-saving design. This wide rotation allows the truck to manoeuvre efficiently in narrow aisles, enabling tighter racking layouts and improved access to loads—helping warehouses maximise storage capacity without compromising productivity.
