Business is booming at Bendi Australia. As a result an opportunity has become available for a results-driven and motivated Business-to-Business (B2B) sales professional to join our national sales team. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for territory development building new business by delivering innovative storage and handling solutions to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the materials handling equipment or pallet racking industry and will have the drive and energy to achieve exceptional sales results in a specialist area. A multi tasker with a combination of business development and account management skills with exceptional customer service skills are a must for this dynamic role.
You must be self-motivated and capable of working independently, identifying new opportunities and presenting innovative warehouse storage solutions based on our unique range of space savings products.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Identify new sales opportunities
- Conduct face to face meetings with customers
- Network with industry partners
- Attend networking meetings and exhibitions
- Make presentations to customers and industry partners
- Arrange and execute product demonstrations
- Handover of equipment with familiarisation and driving techniques
- Produce professional quotations
- Ensure all customers receive prompt and professional service when responding to enquiries
- Achieve a minimum order intake to ensure sales and gross profit targets are met
Skills & Experience
This role will suit sales professionals with a sound understanding of warehouse storage solutions and materials handling equipment, preferably with a minimum of 2 years consistent sales experience in either one of these areas. You will have an enthusiastic can-do attitude, a high-energy approach, fast learning skills and motivation to succeed. You will also need excellent organisational skills and be capable of working unassisted, be a first class communicator (both written and oral), and be adept at influencing and negotiation.
